data

Collected data and the service that stores it.

Data is collected as Measurements, grouped per data stream (DataStreamId) into DataStreamBatches and uploaded through a DataStreamService. A Measurement only carries a Data payload and timestamps; this library does not strip identifying information from the payload, so the app must make sure the data meets the study's privacy requirements. Combined with the study protocol, the provenance of the data (when and why it was collected) is known.

Main types: Measurement, DataStreamId, DataStreamBatch, DataStreamsConfiguration and DataStreamService.

Classes

  • AppendToDataStreams — An RPC request for DataStreamService.appendToDataStreams.
  • CloseDataStreams — An RPC request for DataStreamService.closeDataStreams.
  • DataStreamBatch — A collection of non-overlapping, ordered, data measurements.
  • DataStreamId — Identifies a data stream of collected dataType data on the device with deviceRoleName in a deployed study protocol with studyDeploymentId.
  • DataStreamService — Store and retrieve data streams for study deployments.
  • DataStreamServiceRequest — An abstract RPC request to a DataStreamService.
  • DataStreamsConfiguration — Configures the set of ExpectedDataStreams for a study deployment.
  • ExpectedDataStream — The expected data type for a device with a specific role name.
  • GetDataStream — An RPC request for DataStreamService.getDataStream.
  • Measurement — A piece of collected data with the time it was measured.
  • OpenDataStreams — An RPC request for DataStreamService.openDataStreams.
  • RemoveDataStreams — An RPC request for DataStreamService.removeDataStreams.
